Le Magic d’ Orient

There’s always a reason for me to visit Beirut, I decided to make a last minute stop to my home country to spend some time with family and loved ones. This city overwhelms me with memories of my childhood, I remember all the carefree time I used to spend with my friends as well as the first hardships that made me the person I am today.

There’s always a reason for me to visit Beirut, I decided to make a last minute stop to my home country to spend some time with family and loved ones. This city overwhelms me with memories of my childhood, I remember all the carefree time I used to spend with my friends as well as the first hardships that made me the person I am today.

Since I am a fond admirer of Beirut beauty, I couldn’t leave Lebanon without making a posts to feature one of my favorite places called Gemmayze a neighborhood in the Achrafieh district of Beirut . It’s Beirut’s bohemian quarter, full of narrow streets and historic buildings influenced by the French settlers. A very pristine district with a vast choice of cozy restaurants and welcoming cafes to spend some quality time with friends.

Since Beirut never sleeps, I chose to wear something that would easily accommodate me for a night out as well. I paired a black lace skirt from Zara, with a black body from Dolce Gabbana Basics, a pair of open toe sandals and a bold statement necklace. When dealing with monochrome outfits the accessories play a key role; feel free to dress up or down by wearing different jewelry. For a simpler look I would choose flat sandals with minimal accessories that can be easily switched to transform your outfit from day to night!
