A Day In Florence

It’s been more than a week and I am still head over heels with the Italy. I couldn’t visit the country of divine architecture without making a stop in Florence. So I packed my suitcases and moved to the city which Galileo described as “Constantly bathed in the colors of dawn”.

It’s been more than a week and I am still head over heels with the Italy. I couldn’t visit the country of divine architecture without making a stop in Florence. So I packed my suitcases and moved to the city which Galileo described as “Constantly bathed in the colors of dawn”.

I wake up every day full of energy and eagerness to dress up and go around the city. But I could never leave my work behind as I consider it part of the fun, I have just returned from another walk around town and a couple of meetings with dear friends. I ordered a cup of the famously brewed to perfection Italian coffee and a few macaroons to savor my energy.

I wanted to write this post as soon as I got home since tomorrow my schedule is completely packed. Today I decided to wear something that matches the poetic beauty of Florence. I went through my wardrobe to find the perfect outfit that would provide me with enough comfort and style to carry me through the day.

I chose a dress by the Fall Winter 2015 Mademoiselle Epaulette Collection, a pair of ballerinas, a lace top that would add a more sophisticated preppy look to the outfit, my miu miu shades and my pastel pink chanel bag. This is an ideal outfit for a day out and about; you can also wear it with a pair of pointed pastel heels to add a chic touch.

Today I visited Santa Maria Del Fiore, Florence’s famous Basilica. The architecture of this Cathedral aspires to divinity; I was in awe of the potentiality that lies hidden in human imagination. I took some pictures around the city square and the innumerous carousels I found while wandering about. My day ended with a delicious dinner with friends, and a glass of the loveliest wine.
